Millennium Families,
This week we had our class meetings where we highlighted a few of our campus expectations with our students. Our freshman students had a great time playing head, shoulders, knees and cup. Google it! It's a fun, super easy game. We sure have a competitive group of students and adults. 😀 Our sophomores had to generate an electric current with a large group of people. They did it! Our juniors and seniors had a great time getting hyped up for the year showing their school spirit.
Digital IDs, hall passes and Check-in: This week students were introduced how to access their digital ID. It can be accessed either on their Chromebook or their phone. Digital IDs will take the place of physical IDs and be used for all the same things they would use their physical ID for. Once our pictures get uploaded from picture day, the Digital IDs will include the student's picture as well.
- Check-in - Starting Monday, students will check-in to campus using their Digital ID. We have scanners at each entrance. Students need to be prepared with their Digital ID open on either their Chromebook or phone as they enter campus. This is an additional security measure to keep our campus safe.
- Hall passes - students will use their digital IDs for hall passes this year. Our teachers will no longer have to write paper passes. This will provide us some data we have never had before. How many students do we have out and about on campus during class time? Please note: students will NOT need to take their Chromebook when using a hall pass.
Dress Code - Please note students in violation of dress code are given the opportunity to call a parent to bring something for them. Students will not be able to return to class until they are in proper dress code. Our biggest violations are the tube tops with no straps and an excessive amount of the torso exposed.
Have a great week Tigers!
