On May 7th we will celebrate our incredible school nurse who keeps our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. From patching up scrapes and offering a kind words when it's needed most—you're the heartbeat of our schools. 💪✨

AMS Theatre is excited to announce their fall musical for next year- Spongebob, the Musical: Youth Edition. Spongebob, the Musical is an all-new, original story featuring the beloved characters from the hit Nickelodeon series in a completely new adventure, featuring original music from award-winning musicians ranging from Aerosmith and Cindy Lauper to The Plain White Tees and Panic at the Disco! The original Broadway musical received 12 Tony nominations in 2018, including Best Musical, Best Score, and winning for Scenic Design.

Audition information for the AMS production will be posted on the AMS Theatre website by June 1st, and auditions will be held during the last week of August. The musical is open to all AMS students.

Summer Reading: Required Summer Reading to be completed before the first day of school for both On Level and Honors students. A related assignment will be completed in class. It is recommended that you obtain a personal copy of the novel in order to complete the assignment.

Incoming 7th Grade Novel: The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

7th Grade Immunization Requirements: All incoming 7th graders are required by the state of Texas to have a TDap booster and meningococcal vaccine.

You must upload proof of these vaccinations when completing your re-enrollment forms.

If you have plans to obtain these vaccinations during the summer, please upload a document stating when your appointment is scheduled.

Election Day is Saturday, May 3 in the Argyle ISD Bond Election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you have not voted yet, all election day voting must be done at your respective precinct. To look up your voting precinct, click here. Argyle ISD will share the results of the bond election once they have been released by the Denton County election officials Saturday evening.
