Principal's Message...
It has been another great week at Spalding Drive! The end of our 1st 9 weeks is wrapping up tomorrow and it is amazing to see how much our students have grown!
This week we hosted our Dounts with Grown-Ups/PTO Meeting/Principal Coffee/Walk to School Day (Whew that's a mouthful)! It was incredible to see how many families came out for the event and stayed to hear an informative presentation from one of our very own parents. We hope to see you all tomorrow for the Tiger Trot!

Each week we will spotlight a different staff member! There are so many amazing adults here at SDE and I know everyone would love to learn a little more about each of them.
This week our spotlight is one of our 2nd grade teachers, Ms. Adriane Booker. Ms. Booker is in her 3rd year here at SDE.

Tiger Trot
Tiger Trot is TOMORROW, October 11 during school and we hope you will join us in the gym to cheer your Tiger on! All details remain the same, we just have a new date!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! First, we want to congratulate Sadie Swerdlin (5th grade) as her design was chosen for this year’s Tiger Trot t-shirt! The students will each receive this t-shirt on Friday, October 11, so it can be worn at Tiger Trot! Join us in congratulating Sadie on her awesome design!
DONATIONS: Donations can be made via cash, check or through Membership Toolkit and are due by Friday, October 11th. Also, Race-a-Teacher entries/donations are due on Thursday, October 10th. All money raised will go towards STEAM programming for our students, including an in-house field trip with Challenge Island and a STEAM Day in April!
PRIZES: Every student receives a t-shirt and students win prizes based on the amount of money they raise. There are also prizes for top fundraiser and parties for the top two classes that raise the most money!

🍂 SPALDING DRIVE FALL FESTIVAL IS OCTOBER 25th! 🍂
Get ready for fun, food and fall festivities!
Activities include a Trunk or Treat from Spalding sponsors + other community members, an inflatable corn maze, face painting, teacher experiences auction, and the beloved cake walk! Kids should bring their own bag/ bucket for the Trunk or Treat, and everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite costume (nothing scary and no weapons). 5th grade will sell concessions, Papa John's, and Chic Fil A. This will be the final time to make your 📚 Book Fair purchases 📚 inside the library from 5:30pm-7:30pm!
