Kindergarten Round Up Registration
Thursday, April 23rd, 2020
Please call the Blackbird office at 231.526.4600 to set up a time.
Dear Future Kindergarten Parents,
As we prepare for the 2020-2021 school year, we want to invite our incoming Kindergarten students and parents to Blackbird Elementary. We would like incoming students to spend some time with our Kindergarten teachers on April 23rd.
The purpose of this Kindergarten Roundup is to provide our teachers an opportunity to spend some time with your child. The Kindergarten teachers will use this time to learn more about your child and get to know him/her before the school year begins. This will provide the best Kindergarten learning experience possible for all of our students!
The following are samples of activities planned for your child to experience at our Round Up:
● Letter identification.
● Coloring and cutting shapes and creating a craft.
● Name writing, number identification and conversation activities.
• Games that incorporate following direction activities with letters/numbers.
The kindergarten teachers, staff, and administration are looking forward to meeting you and your child at Kindergarten Round-Up!
