FMS Buffaloes,
The last few weeks of school encompass so much excitement and celebration of students and staff! During the week, we celebrated our new NJHS inductees, listened to an amazing band concert and choir concert. Each of these events were incredible displays of our Buffs Being The Best They Can Be!
We also spend last week celebrating our teachers during Teacher Appreciation week as well as celebrating our school nurse, Nurse Tipsword, and receptionist, Ms. Knapp! I can't tell you how grateful I am for our teachers and staff and ALL they do for our students and campus. We are so thankful to have Buff-Mazing staff here at FMS!
We have 2 weeks left in the school year. It is unbelievable how quick this year has gone by. We are kicking off the 2-week countdown with our NJHS student organized dress up days! See the flyer below if your child would like to participate!
Please keep encouraging your student to be at school and engaged in learning. We want your students here!

Student Chromebooks
In order for your child to learn effectively and be successful in the classroom, they need to bring their fully charged school issued device and charger to school every day. A good practice for this is to have students charge their Chromebook at home with their Chromebook in their backpack. Remember, bringing Chromebooks and having them charged will enhance your students learning during the school day.
If your student has a broken Chromebook, please contact our librarian, Ms. Long, at clong@florenceisd.net for payment options.
Notes from the Nurse
24 hour rule: If your child is sick, they cannot return to school must be clear of symptoms (diarrhea, vomiting or fever) without medication for 24 hours.
