Do you want to show how proud you are of your student?
Take out an ad in the yearbook! You could do a baby picture, a recent picture, or a nice letter celebrating your student! Use the QR code, the phone number, or the website to get started. All ads must be in before November 27th to be printed in the yearbook!

School Pictures
Picture Retakes will be taken on Tuesday, October 15th during the school day. If you ordered a picture package already, but your child would like to have their picture retaken, students should return their picture package on October 15th.

To order school pictures through Lifetouch, log in to your account on mylifetouch.com or create an account using your student's school ID number. Note: Student ID numbers can be found in Campus Portal. It's the 9-digit number listed as the "student number" as well as under the Food Service barcode.
CMS Before & After-School Supervision Reminder
Registration for 2nd Quarter Opens 10/11/24
2nd Quarter Dates: November 5th through January 17th
CMS Before and After-School Supervision takes place in the cafeteria. This is a safe place for students to be supervised before and after school. You must provide your own transportation.
Before-School Supervision Hours and Information:
● Hours: 6:00-7:45 am
● Students arriving prior to 7:45 am who are not signed up for Supervision will remain outside until 7:45 am.
After-School Supervision Hours and Information:
● Hours: 3:00-6:00 pm
● Students staying after school who are not signed up for After-School Supervision will need to wait outside after 3:00 pm while they wait for pick-up.
Costs:
● Before-School Supervision: $185 per quarter
● After-School Supervision: $210 per quarter
● Before and After Supervision: $360 per quarter
Late Pickup:
● A late pickup fee of $10 per each five-minute increment past 6 pm will be assigned to your Campus Fees. A pattern of late pickup may result in termination of supervision. If the child is not picked up by 6:30 pm and we are unable to reach an emergency contact, the police will be contacted.
STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED EACH QUARTER IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
To register: Log into your Campus Parent Portal account and go to "fees." There is an "optional fee" located there for supervision. Select the option you will need. Once you have paid your fee, your student is then automatically registered. If your family needs financial assistance, please contact Tammy Larsen at tlarsen@isd12.org.

Centennial MS/HS Choir Mattress Fundraiser
Are you in need of a new mattress? Come and check out high end mattresses at Centennial High School on Sunday, October 27th from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in the West Cafeteria. There is a 10% discount for teachers, military personnel, police officers, and firefighters. All proceeds support the Centennial middle and high school choir programs. Treat yourself to a new mattress and help the Centennial choir programs!

Student absence requests are submitted through Campus Parent Portal. An “Attendance Request” link is also found on the Parent Hub of the school website for easy access to the Portal and resources to assist.

Kindergarten Preview Day: October 24
Is your little one starting kindergarten in fall 2025? Centennial Schools invites you and your future kindergartner for a peek into kindergarten, October 24, 9:45 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Start your child on the path to a smooth transition. On-site Immunization Clinic for Pre-K through Grade 12 + Journey Students: October 22, 2024
Location: District Office, 4707 North Road, Circle Pines (Door S15)
- 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Pre-registered High School, CALC, and Journey students only with parent consent + students, 18 years and older. (Parent/Guardian not required to attend as consent is given during registration.)
- 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: All students, Pre-K and up. (Pre-registration preferred, walk-ins welcome). Parent/guardian must be present unless student is 16 years or older with pre-registration completed. Students 18 years and older do not need parent/guardian to be present.
Note: This clinic is for required immunizations only. COVID-19 and flu shots are not available. Minnesota law requires children enrolled in childcare, early childhood education, or school to be immunized against certain diseases, unless the child is medically or non-medically exempt. If proper documentation is not provided, students will be unable to attend school after November 1st, 2024. Please note, K-12 immunization status is available on Campus Parent Portal. Community Education
Centennial Ski/Snowboard Club (gr. 6-12)
Now is the time to register for the all-session package for ski/snowboard trips! Beginners are welcome, lessons are available at Wild Mountain. Transportation to the ski hill is included to and from Centennial Middle School. The first trip is December 14.

24/7 Free Academic Support for Students in Grade 6-12
Centennial School District has partnered with Paper to provide free, 24/7 access to 1-on-1 tutoring and writing support for students in grade 6-12. Through federal relief funds, we are able to provide additional academic support for students. Students can access this online tutor via the chat function.
