Webber Elementary Newsletter
November 22, 2024
Thank you for the support!
Greetings Webber Elementary Parents and Students,
This week's Positivity Project character trait leading up the the Thanksgiving break: Gratitude. Lately, our teachers have really focused on that concept, and it has been delightful hearing all the things that students are thankful for. With that, I'd like to add that I am very thankful for our staff, students, and families. I feel fortunate to be a part of a wonderful school community that works hard to support our students.
Looking ahead, school will be in session next Monday and Tuesday, and we will be off beginning Wednesday, November 27. With a short week, this will be the final newsletter in November. The next edition will get distributed on Friday, December 6.
I hope that the break provides everyone with an opportunity to connect with family and friends to strengthen those bonds. Enjoy a meal, celebrate a Lion's victory, and relish the laughs and good times.
Have a great weekend and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Staff Recognition - Distinguished Dragon
Throughout the school year, if you would like to recognize a staff member from Webber, we encourage you to submit a Distinguished Dragon nomination. The intent of the Distinguished Dragon program is to ensure that staff members who go above and beyond their regular duties are appreciated. The additional effort or support can range from helping an individual to helping a group or any effort that seems worthy of praise.
The staff member can be nominated by a student, parent, community member or a colleague by completing the form at LakeOrionSchools.org/DistinguishedDragon. We ask for the submitter's name and contact information to follow up with specific questions if necessary. Please make sure to select the appropriate school/department form so the message is routed in the proper direction.
Please complete the form entirely so the individual can be appropriately honored for their contributions.
