Student of the Month - Zach McCarty

5th Grade Camp JOLT

92 students and 15 BISD staff and 1 BISD board member went to Camp JOLT on Lake Texoma in Pottsboro. Staff and students spent two days and one night at camp learning hands on about science, learning some new skills (archery, hiking, making s'mores) and making many memories with their classmates. For many of our students this is their first opportunity to experience a camp or overnight camp of any kind...to see their faces and excitement is truly special! Our students represented themselves, their family's and our school well...we were all extremely proud of how respectful, well-behaved and engaged they were in their learning experiences. Thank you to BISD for investing in our students!

Superior Rating for Choir!

The Evans and Rather choir (combined) went to the Northeast Texas Choir Invitational and received a SUPERIOR rating! Bravo to our students and Ms. Waller for all of their hard work and top notch performance.
