From the Abernethy Office

Hello Abernethy Families,

You’ve most likely seen or heard about the Abernethy Auction + Party already, but I want to personally invite each and every one of you to join me on Saturday, May 4th for a memorable evening that enriches our beloved community in more ways than one.

All of our fundraising efforts are dedicated to enhancing educational experiences of our kiddos and the auction is the biggest opportunity right now. Together between ticket and the auction sales we are able to make significant contributions to our school. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to connect face-to-face and have some fun.

If you’re on the fence or just unsure about what to expect, here are some answers to your burning questions…

Flow of the auction party:

• The evening will be a progressive party through the Abernethy neighborhood, beginning with check-in any time from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm at neighborhood wine bar, Floyd's.

• From there, we’ll visit an Abernethy family's house for catered dinner from Teote, followed by dessert, drinks, auction and photo booth at the 1600 Division loft space.

• Finally, end the night with an after-party and a nightcap at Backcountry Wines.

What to Wear:

• It's Saturday, May the 4th so, of course, there is a Star Wars theme. (Whether you go full Chewbacca or keep it low-key in space-inspired metallics, feel free to interpret any way you'd like!)

Who’s Invited?

• This event is fun and casual, all are welcome! That said, the PTA is holding a carnival for the kiddos later in the year. Leave them at home for this event. We never want cost to be a barrier to attending and are happy to offer reduced pricing and complimentary tickets. Please reach out to me directly with questions.
