Welcome To Week #17

Dear Brahma Family,

The Walnut Valley Educational Foundation hosted their 25th annual Teddy Bear Tea on Saturday, and it was a wonderful community event. Each of our Magnificent 7 parent organizations and the school leadership team contributed a gift basket for the raffle or auction. The parent groups also showed strong support by purchasing at least one table each, contributing to the sold-out success of the event. Proceeds from the Teddy Bear Tea support Teacher Mini-Grants, which last year funded over 60 grants district-wide, including more than 20 for teachers at DBHS. These grants make a meaningful difference in our classrooms, positively impacting student learning.

As the semester winds down please be patient during morning drop off and afternoon pick up. Please remind your children to use crosswalks when crossing Pathfinder and Brea Canyon roads, and let’s all remember to be kind to one another.

Friday, December 6, our United Student Body hosted TWO Winter Sports Rallies. DBHS DRUM LINE opened the event after being introduced by the USB MC Santas!

Over our 2024 Thanksgiving Break, we took the opportunity to sand and varnish our gym floor. Our current gym floor was installed 7 years ago. Looking gooooood! Go Brahmas!
