We are excited to announce that the Garden Club will be working on an indoor art project this winter, creating a masterpiece using recycled plastic caps and lids. In light of the chilly weather, we’ll be collecting these items to make a vibrant art installation that brightens our school campus. Please look for the collection bins located in the front of the school and in the cafeteria. We will gather caps and lids of all shapes and colors until we have enough to create a large display piece. Your contributions will help inspire creativity and teamwork among our students. Thank you for your support!

Here are some popular items where you can recycle plastic lids and caps:

1. Bottles: Most plastic beverage bottles, including water, soda, and juice bottles.

2. Food Containers: Lids from containers like yogurt, takeout, and condiment jars (e.g., ketchup, mustard).

3. Cleaning Product Bottles: Caps from plastic bottles used for cleaning supplies, detergents, and personal care products.

4. Toiletries: Lids from shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and other personal care product containers.

5. Coffee Cups: Many coffee cup lids.

Watch Dog Dad training is scheduled for 1/15 at 7:40 am OR 5:30 pm in the library. This is only required for dads that have never been trained at Hamilton Elementary. LIMIT OF ONE SPOT PER DAD FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.
