Congratulations to our girls track team for winning the PIAA Class 3A 4x400 relay at the PIAA Track and Field Championships this past weekend.

We are so proud of our Clippers. Congratulations again to Alasia Mosley, Daleeah Alexander, JaNaisa Dearry, Damira Allen, and Coach Jamal “Shake” Allen!

I would like to thank our dedicated prom committee and everyone else who helped to make the prom a memorable event.
And congratulations to the prom kings and queens.

5th Grade Dance
This past Friday, 5th grade students from CUSA, Stetser and Main Street enjoyed a Candyland themed formal at Lia's Catering.
Our scholars had a blast and looked fabulous at the dance.
College & Career Fair
The College and Career Fair we hosted in partnership with the Bountiful Blessing Foundation turned out great.
Nearly two dozen local employers participated in the event, providing our 11th and 12th-grade students and community members with the opportunity to explore potential employment prospects.
CUSD Celebrates Diversity at International Day Event
Recently, we hosted an International Day celebration to highlight our diverse student body and learn about various cultures and traditions.
The event was a lively display of heritage, with all CUSD children who qualify for the English Language Learners (ELL) program creating poster displays and short write-ups about their countries of origin.
Attendees were given passport journals to collect stickers as they visited the different countries and helpful resources for bilingual individuals.
In total, 13 countries were represented. The event also featured unique cultural food, decorations, festive music, and flags of various countries.
It was a great time and would not have been possible without the hard work of Dr. Carlena Parker and our ELL teachers. They did an amazing job pulling everything together. I would also like to give a big thank you to our high school ELL students who were also a big help.
When we celebrate our differences, we are better able to understand and respect each other. CUSD is proud to create events that promote diversity and inclusion as it brings us together as a community.
Did You Know?
CUSD has a diverse student population. Six percent of our scholars are immigrants, and among them, 90 percent identify as Hispanic/Latinx. Currently we have 150 students in grades K - 12 enrolled in our English Language Learners programs.
Toby Farms Hosts ‘Pastries with Parents’ Event
Last week, Toby Farms hosted a delightful 'Pastries with Parents' event where our scholars and their parent figures gathered for a fun time. The event was filled with coloring activities, engaging conversations, and delicious snacks.
It was truly heartwarming to witness the love and appreciation shared between our scholars and their families. Events like these highlight the strong bonds within our school community and the importance of family involvement in our students' lives.
