Secaucus High School
Update
November 18, 2024
Quarter 1 report cards are now accessible through the Realtime Parent Portal. We encourage all families to review the report card together with their child, using this opportunity to discuss the connection between grades, effort, learning, and growth. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or school counselor. Thank you for your continued partnership in fostering positive expectations and supporting the success of our young adults.
An Inspiring Day of Learning in New York City
On Friday, students from our U.S. History II class embarked on a memorable journey to New York City to connect their studies with real-world history. They visited significant landmarks, including the Freedom Tower, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, The Survivor Tree, and the iconic Koenig Sphere. This immersive experience provided a powerful opportunity to reflect on resilience, history, and the lessons of September 11, 2001.
Thank you to the teachers and chaperones who made this trip possible!

Secaucus High School Open House
Each year, our school hosts a High School Open House evening for our parent community. This program is provided to give parents an overview of the academic and extracurricular programming available in our school. While the evening is geared toward 8th-grade parents, we extend the invite to all families who may want an early look at our high school. Attending parents will get a preview of the courses, services, clubs, and sports available to Secaucus High School students. The program will last about one hour and will allot time for parental Q&A.
SHS Dress Code and Clothing Drive
All students are reminded to be in proper dress code each and every day which includes wearing the proper bottoms (khaki pants or sweatpants with the appropriate logo). Please see below for a point of reference.
The high school main office is also collecting gently used uniform items. All donations are greatly appreciated!
As always, please reach out to me with any questions.
Best regards,
