Principal's Message
Good evening Borchardt Families,
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms in our community! We’re so grateful for the love and support you give each day.
This week, our students will continue with their final i-Ready Diagnostic assessments. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and encouragement as we wrap up this important round of testing.
We also have a fundraiser at Casa Mexicana all week—when you show the flyer, 50% of all proceeds will be donated back to Borchardt! It’s a delicious way to support our students and school programs.
And don’t forget—Friday is Western Spirit Day! We’re celebrating our 6th graders and their “final rodeo” with a fun dress-up day. Students are invited to wear their best western gear (just a reminder—no cowboy boots, sneakers only, and all outfits must follow dress code).
Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful week ahead!
Warmly,
Bri Carroll, Principal

Attendance Matters!
We’re continuing to focus on strong attendance at Borchardt! Each month, we celebrate the class in each grade level with the best attendance—and in May, we’ll be recognizing our April winners with a SUPER Recess during the first week of the month!
At the end of May, we’ll also be celebrating all students with perfect attendance for the entire year. These students will receive a special prize and get to participate in our beloved Borchardt tradition—the Running of the Bears!
Let’s keep the momentum going—being at school every day and on time makes a big difference!
