May 24th, 2024
The end of the year continues to be a busy but exciting time of year! Congratulations to all the sophomores who have now completed their final administration of the MCAS. Freshman will take the biology exam in the coming weeks (more information below).
This past Tuesday we hosted our annual Future Teacher Signing Day where we celebrated several of our graduates who are going to school to major in education. It was great to see many of our graduates decide to pursue a career in education and we are excited about the impact they will have on future generations of students. A photo of the students and many of our teachers who have inspired them can be found below.
We are now 1 week away from graduation and we are looking forward an eventful senior week of activities. There are some important updates that can be found in the "Senior Corner" section of the newsletter, so please be sure to read below for more information on senior week.
Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will have final exams starting on June 13th with a modified full day schedule. Please be sure to see below for the full schedule.
I'd like to wish everyone an enjoyable and relaxing long weekend, and I encourage everyone to take a moment of remembrance at some point for those we honor on Memorial Day.

Virtual Service Academy Night
Congressman Auchincloss’ office is hosting a Virtual Service Academy Night on Tuesday, May 28th from 6:00-7:30pm. This is an opportunity for high school students in grades 9-11 to learn more about the application process for the five United States Service Academies: West Point, Navy, Air Force, Merchant Marines, and Coast Guard.
During the Academy Night, students will get to hear from Congressman Auchincloss’ staff about the Congressional nomination process required for four of the five service academies (Coast Guard Academy does not require a Congressional nomination). We will also be joined by representatives from each of the service academies to hear about the individual schools’ application processes.
Please distribute this information to students who may be interested in applying to attend a United States Service Academy. Pre-registration for the webinar is required.
Students and parents may register for the webinar at this LINK.
