November 2024 Edition
Primary
As we approach November, we are excited to share some wonderful activities and lessons planned for the Primary children this month. This month we will help the children focus on the importance of being thankful. We want to inspire them not only to succeed academically but also to become compassionate individuals who care for their community. We are teaching our students the values of kindness, gratitude, and helping others.
Kindergarten: Learning to be Thankful, making Math Turkeys(breaking apart the number 10 with colored feathers, and other Thanksgiving-related activities. Writing about and making Fall trees and owls.
1st Grade: Color Express Fall Painting, Friendsgiving Celebration,
learning about the life cycle of a turkey, the Native Americans, and the history of Thanksgiving.
2nd Grade: Reading the Magic Tree House book "Thanksgiving on Thursday" and doing some comprehension vocabulary activities to go along with it. Thankful Thanksgiving Turkey activity is also a fun way to share what we are thankful for during this special time of year.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. We feel blessed to work with your wonderful children and look forward to a thankful month ahead.

FFA
The FFA National Convention
By: Ali Black, FFA Reporter
This month has been full of fun and busy schedules! One of our most important events was traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana for the 97th National FFA Convention and Expo.
The FFA National convention is known for giving members opportunities to develop leadership skills, network with other members and chapters, explore careers, and so much more. The students who traveled all can agree that attending the convention was an extraordinary experience. We had a blast attending workshops and general sessions, receiving our 3 star chapter award, attending the expo, and learning a variety of new things together as a team.
