Beginning of the year
We are so excited to be part of this amazing classroom! We look forward to see all of our children grow to their full potential. We have had a great beginning of the year, especially by having you parents come to our classroom and get your children acquainted with their new school family.
We have been working on learning about our daily routines, and how our schedule works. During these few days we had a chance to get to know our friends, interest areas, specialist teachers and school. It has been a week full of many opportunities to explore our classrooms and learn to use our materials appropriately.
We talked about feelings and we had a fun time talking about Humpty Dumpty and The Three Little Kittens. We had a chance to act out the nursery rhyme as well as watch how Humpty cracked as it fell to the floor.
In general, we can say that the children have been quite busy ;)

ISP's policy on lice
1- Kids with live lice in school go home for treatment at home. They come back once they are lice/nit free
2- Kids with nits can stay in school but family is advised to comb the nits out. Shampoos and medication de not kill nits, they must be combed out.
3- Parents need to know that there is no preventive medicine, that is why we send the alert so that parents are on the look for possible infestation.
4- Classrooms are immediately vacuumed and cleaned thoroughly when a case is confirmed.
**The flyer sent home gives all the information necessary**
Also, we do not recommend products- Any OTC will do.
Child's doctor could provide more information for other type of medication.
