Cool Classrooms
Students in this Algebra 1 class enjoyed reviewing topics with a twist. Each pod of students played Jenga to review concepts learned in class. Colors were placed on the bottom of each block and depending on what block they pull out they have to answer different questions. If a student pulls one of the blocks with no color then they do not have to answer a question for that round. If the tower falls, students just re-build the tower and continue playing.
Student Activities
Student Council
Our student KLAA representatives have been busy preparing for the KLAA Leadership Forum in March. Teams of students from every school in the KLAA will be presenting on one practice that helps energize other student leaders to make extraordinary things happen in their school. Wayne Memorial and John Glenn will be sharing information on the practice of encouraging the heart. Student Council members from across the KLAA will have the opportunity to attend the forum and hear from their peers.
