Lake Seneca Family Newsletter
Sunday, September 8
Dear Lake Seneca Families,
We’ve just completed our second week of school, and I continue to be impressed by the positivity and dedication of our entire Lake Seneca community. A big thank you to our students, families, and staff for keeping the momentum going! Your ongoing support has made this transition back to school so smooth and successful.
This past week, we were thrilled to welcome our Pre-K and PEP students to school. Watching them engage with their teachers and peers has been such a joy, and I know they’re going to thrive here at Lake Seneca.
As we settle into the school year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead for learning, growth, and connection. Let’s continue working together to make this an amazing year for all of our students!
Thank you for your partnership and commitment.

Attendance & Dismissal Reminders
At Lake Seneca, our number one goal during dismissal is ensuring that all students make it home safely. To help us, please remind your child each morning of how they are supposed to go home—whether by bus, car, or as a pedestrian. If there are any changes to your child’s dismissal plan, please communicate them with the school as early as possible to avoid confusion.
For car riders, we ask that families remain in their cars, and we will bring your child to you. If you prefer for your child to be a pedestrian, please park down the hill and walk to the pedestrian doors at the far end of the building to pick up your child. This helps keep dismissal organized and safe for everyone.
School doors open at 8:40 AM, and dismissal is at 3:25 PM. It’s crucial that students are in school on time and stay the entire day to maximize their learning. Please try to avoid early dismissals after 3:00 PM unless it’s an emergency, as this can disrupt end-of-day routines.
If your child is absent due to illness, appointments, or an emergency, be sure to notify the school. Your communication helps us ensure that all students are accounted for and supported.
We truly appreciate your cooperation in ensuring our students are safe and on time each day. Thank you for your continued support!
