October 21-25 is National School Bus Safety Week. Each school day, millions of children ride school buses. Did you know that the school bus is one of the safest vehicles on the road? However, children are more at risk when approaching or leaving a school bus. It’s important for all drivers, as well as parents and students, to understand school bus safety.

Our schools celebrate Red Ribbon Week in October. The National Family Partnership is a national leader in drug prevention education & advocacy. Their mission is to lead and support our nation’s families and communities in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug free youth.

This certification includes CPR (infant/child/adult), choking, AED and Basic First Aid. This satisfies requirements for foster families, adoption, childcare workers, first response teams at a business or church, and construction workers. This is a 2-year certification.

Instructor Information: All instructors are professional firefighters certified through the American Safety Health Institute (ASHI).
