Happy New Year! We hope this message finds you well and that your family had a restful and joyous winter break. As we step into the new year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for all that 2025 has in store for our students, staff, and community.
A new year brings new opportunities—a fresh start to set goals, work hard, and achieve great things. At Scott, we are committed to ensuring that every student feels supported, inspired, and ready to learn each and every day. Together, we can make this year one of growth, achievement, and success for everyone in our school family.

Attendance Change in Remind Calls for PreK-5
Dear Elementary Families, Please note an important change to our attendance process. To enhance our focus on student safety, automated attendance calls through Remind will now begin at 9:30 AM instead of 10:30 AM. To avoid receiving a call, please report your child's absence to the school before 9:30 AM. Thank you for your cooperation.
Rosi is out until 2/3/25
Math and Reading Assessments
We want to remind you about the upcoming math and reading assessments. These are important benchmarks that help us understand your child’s progress and areas for growth.
- Assessment Dates:
- January 21–24, 2025
- January 29–31, 2025
To help your child succeed:
- Ensure they are well-rested each night before their test day.
- Provide a nutritious breakfast to fuel their focus and energy.
- Communicate with their teacher if you have concerns or questions about the assessment.
- Most importantly, maintain a positive and supportive attitude to ease any anxiety and build their confidence.
Your encouragement and involvement make a big difference in your child’s success. Thank you for partnering with us to support their learning journey!
