School Board Recognition Month
APS school board members are community members who demonstrate extraordinary dedication to our public school. January marks School Board Recognition Month and is the perfect time we thank our school board members for their dedication and commitment to our school.

Welcome back from Christmas break Adair Warriors! We are so glad to see all of our students back at school. We started a new question series this semester that is linked to 3rd grade level core curriculum vocabulary in the subject area of Language Arts, to hopefully help our 3rd graders achieve their best scores on the state test coming up in April. Winners this week include, pictured from left to right: Miles Marsh 1st grade Mrs. Fields, Gentrie Marlin 1st grade Mrs. Fields and Finlee Headrick 3rd grade Mrs. Bergner.
Perfect Attendance and Shining Star Math Students
BHE celebrates perfect attendance and Shining Star Math students. The student who had perfect attendance were able to enjoy a treat and watch a short Christmas movie. Blue ribbon math students and 3rd graders who had passed all of their multiplication facts enjoyed sundae's and spent some time dancing. What a great day to be a hard worker at Bernita Hughes Elementary.

6th - 8th grade art students painted a picture of a snowman that where displayed at the Winter Band Concert.

The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) launched December 31, and this year it’s very important that high school seniors (and usually, one or both parents) create their FSA IDs—their electronic signatures for the FAFSA.
