7th Grade and 8th Grade Basketball
I am excited to announce that our district season has officially started, and we had some exciting games against Dripping Springs. I am pleased to report that the Raiders emerged victorious, winning three out of four games! Congratulations to the 7th, Black, 8th White and Black teams for winning. All our basketball players demonstrated incredible teamwork, skill, and determination throughout the matches, showcasing their hard work and dedication during practice. Each game brought its own challenges, but the resilience of our teams shone through, and it was a fantastic display of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Looking ahead, I want to remind everyone that we will be facing off against Sycamore Springs next Wednesday. All basketball players will travel by school bus to the game. Since this is an away game, ALL parents must sign out their child with a Coach at the end of the game after the Team talk if they are not riding the bus back to school. I encourage all of our fans, families, and friends to come out and support our team as we continue our journey this season. Your presence makes a tremendous difference and boosts the players' spirits! Please note that the first slate of games will start at 5:15 p.m. However, the second slate of games are scheduled for 6:30 p.m., but can start early. Please make sure to check the linked practice calendar weekly as it is a live document and practices are subject to change. All basketball players need to be picked up on time. Thank you for your continued support, and let’s keep the momentum going!
