Weekly Wanderings
& Notes from Mrs. Dumproff's Desk, April 4th, 2020
Holy Week Break
I continue to miss each and every student. I pray for you all every day.

Assessment and Grading
Going forward, we will use a combination of assessment and grading strategies. The Archdiocese is compiling an assessment and grading guideline for Catholic schools, which will be out during the week of April 14th. When we have that in hand, we will share specifics with you.
We know this is a lot to ask of families right now. You have become your child's educational manager. It is important that you stay in touch with your child's teacher(s) if things are becoming challenging. There will likely be days that work cannot get done. That is perfectly okay. In those times, send an email or call your teacher to let them know. If the work is becoming too difficult, also let your child's teacher know. Adjustments can easily be made. You are new to this, and we are new to this, too. It's great to keep communication lines flowing.
Prayer from Pope Francis to Mary during the COVID-19 Pandemic
O Mary,
you always shine on our path
as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,
who at the cross took part in the pain of Jesus, keeping your faith firm.
You, salvation of the people,
know what we need,
and we are sure you will provide
so that, as in Cana of Galilee,
we may return to joy and to feasting
after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform to the will of the Father
and to do as we are told by Jesus,
who has taken upon himself our sufferings
and carried our sorrows to lead us,
through the cross,
to the joy of the resurrection.
Amen.
Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the
entreaties of us who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger,
O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
