The math department has chosen Grace Tossava and Gavin Comero as the November math students of the month.

Grace Tossava is currently in both geometry and algebra II this year. She is a very bright and helpful student, who always has good news to share with us all.

Gavin Comero is taking algebra III/trigonometry and statistics through NMU concurrently. He is doing fantastic in both. He teaches complicated concepts to other students and explains it perfectly.

Here are the pictures from this week’s SEL series on building positive relationships. Students did a partner activity to practice communication as one partner was blindfolded and the other was giving instructions on how to build a snow person.

The WHS Holiday Band Concert will be held on December 18th at 7:00 pm in the Patriot Performing Arts Theater.

The WHS Chorus and VIM Holiday Concert will take place at 7:00pm on December 19th in the Patriot Performing Arts Theater.

This is a reminder the last day of school before Christmas break is Friday, December 20. This year we have a full two weeks off and will return to school on Monday, January 6th.

Semester 1 examis will be held on January 14-17. The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, January 14th (Full Day)

• 1:20 pm to 3:00 pm - 7th hour exam

Wednesday, January 15th (Half Day)

• 8:05 - 9:45 am Exam Period 1
• 9:45 - 10:00 am Break
• 10:00 - 11:40 am Exam Period 2

Thursday, January 16th (Half Day)

• 8:05 - 9:45 am Exam Period 3
• 9:45 - 10:00 am Break
• 10:00 - 11:40 am Exam Period 4

Friday, January 17th (Half Day)

• 8:05 - 9:45 am Exam Period 5
• 9:45 - 10:00 am Break
• 10:00 - 11:40 am Exam Period 6

Exam exemption forms will be available in the office beginning January 6th and will be due by 3:00 pm on Friday, January 10th.
