Obituary of Pastor Ray Schmeling | Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home

Pastor Ray Schmeling, 71, of Freehold celebrated his return home to the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2025 after enduring 24 difficult days in the ICU of New York Presbyterian Hospital. Born in Neptune, he lived in Holmdel with his parents through high school.

PINELANDS UMC BIBLE STUDY ~ WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Bible study meets each Wednesday evenings in our Nesco Church beginning at 6:30 pm. All are welcome to attend. You are invited to bring something to share or not. Pizza will be served.

SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY ~ SOUP SALE

Here we go…it’s been a long year but what better way to enjoy the Superbowl then with homemade soup from the Ladies (and men) of the Church. Our annual SOUPER BOWL - Soup Sale will be held on February 9th in our Batsto Church. The sale begins promptly at 10:00 am. Lots of choices! No pre-orders! NO EARLY BIRDS!!

UWIF MEETING ~ FEBRUARY 12TH

The United Women in Faith will meet on Wednesday, February 12th in the Nesco Church at 10:00 am. Plan to join us as we discuss everything up and coming for Spring. Everyone is welcome to come; bring a few friends and get involved.

ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL MEETING

Church Administrative Council Meeting - Carolyn Stewart Fellowship Hall, Nesco, Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 PM . Please try to share any agenda items, proposals or ongoing reports via email prior to the meeting.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST ~ MARCH 1

The United Women in Faith are busy planning the next pancake breakfast this winter which will take place on Saturday, March 1st in our Nesco Church Building. Doors will open at 8:00 am and breakfast will be served until 11:00 am. Bring the whole family. The cost is $10.00 adults / $5.00 children.

FISHING CLUB MEETS ~ MARCH 5TH

Did you know Pinelands United Methodist Church has a fishing club that meets once a month at a local home. The fishing club is open to everyone and will meet next on March 5th. Consider getting involved.
