The big ideas released build on guidelines developed by the American Statistical Association, which outline a four-step cycle for data investigation that you will see on the new webpage: formulate statistical investigative questions collect/consider the data analyze interpret and communicate For each grade range, the webpage shows the Big Ideas- descriptions of the most important content in data science that are intended to help teachers focus attention on ways to increase data literacy.

Main Street is launching Teacher Rewards, this is part of our PBIS Rewards program. Teacher rewards allows coworkers to thank an acknowledge team mates that go the extra mile. Staff members can recognize each other in these areas Teamwork, Dedication, and Leadership. Once a team member recognizes another points are given.
October 9-10, Hollister, CA- Soledad FFA officer team attends regional leadership conference. 275 other student FFA leaders from within our region gathered for a two-day conference filled with leadership workshops that serve to encourage and motivate these leaders to return to our school with a new outlook on life and a positive attitude with their new ideas.
