Principal's Weekly Update
May 20-24th
Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who attended, sent in pledges, or helped at the Walk-a-thon this weekend. We hope you and your family had a great time. The final amounts are still being calculated, so we will share that once we have it completed. A very big thank you goes out to the chair of the Walk-a-thon, Mrs. Karen Langevin, and the other members of the SLC. We are truly grateful for everyone's time and efforts.
Please keep in mind that this Thursday is an early dismissal day. I want to thank families for their patience in additional early dismissals for NEASC re-accreditation preparation. I know that early dismissals can be a burden on families, so we appreciate your flexibility this year. The good news is that we will not have the additional early dismissal days next year.
The SLC will be growing next year and we will be making announcements about new elected positions and goals for next year. Please keep an eye for this email in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
Megan dos Santos
Principal

Filming at Holy Name School
A camera crew will be visiting on Monday morning to film B roll footage for a diocesan video. Parents who have not given permission to use their child's photo or include them in video will not be filmed.
Scoliosis Screenings
Students in grades 5-8 will be screened for scoliosis this Wednesday. The nurse will speak with students about this tomorrow in school and then an email will be sent out to families. It will provide additional information and the option to opt out. Please contact Mrs. Viveiros at nurse@hnsfr.org with questions.
New Family Referral Program
Any family who refers a new family to our school is eligible for a $600 tuition credit. If a new family enrolls, you will receive a $300 credit to your FACTS account in November. If the new family re-enrolls for the 2025-2026 school year, you will be credited with another $300 in the spring. We have had a steady number of new families enrolling students, many of them referred by our current families. Thank you to all those who are sharing about all the great things happening at Holy Name School with the community!
The Jr. Scholarship is directed to those families with financial concern over continuing their child's Catholic education into high school. Students do not need to be Polish. Extracurricular activities and community involved students are preferably chosen.
