Weekly Buzz
Lincoln High School
May 6, 2024
Greetings, Lincoln Students and Families.
This week, May 6th-10th, is dedicated to showing our incredible teachers how much we appreciate them! They work tirelessly to inspire, educate, and support our students, and it's time to express our gratitude.
Here are some ways you and your student can participate:
For Students:
Write a heartfelt note: A simple, handwritten message expressing what you appreciate about your teacher can make a big impact.
Create a thoughtful card or picture: Let your creativity shine! Drawings, poems, or even a decorated card can show your teacher how much you care.
Offer a small gift: A homemade treat, a small plant, or their favorite coffee cup are gestures that show you were thinking of them.
Say "Thank you!" with a smile: A genuine expression of appreciation goes a long way.
For Parents:
Send a personalized message: Reach out to your child's teacher and express your gratitude for their dedication.
Show your support publicly: Leave a positive review on a social media platform mentioning your child's teacher.
Remember, the most important thing is to show genuine appreciation. Every gesture, big or small, lets our teachers know how much we value their hard work and the positive impact they have on our student’s lives.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week!

We are now at 78.17% of family responses for the Community Schools Survey. Over the next five years, Lincoln will receive close to $2 million that goes towards our Community Schools initiatives. Participating in this survey is one way to have a say in how the money is spent. We need all of our Lincoln parents and guardians to complete the short survey about the school’s needs.
