Meet Our Special Areas Teachers
We are thrilled to introduce our talented special areas teachers who bring creativity, innovation, and energy to our students every day! These dedicated educators inspire students in physical education, the arts, technology, and beyond, providing a well-rounded educational experience that goes beyond the traditional classroom. Here’s a bit about each of our special area classes and the fantastic teachers who lead them:
Physical Education (PE)
Our PE coaches are passionate about keeping students active and healthy. They focus on developing physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while encouraging students to have fun and stay fit. From team sports to fitness challenges, our PE classes help students build confidence and a lifelong love of physical activity.
Art
Our art teacher inspires students to express themselves through drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. In art class, students explore different mediums and techniques, learn about famous artists, and create their own masterpieces. Creativity and self-expression are at the heart of every art lesson!
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Our STEM teacher engages students in hands-on learning that sparks curiosity and critical thinking. From robotics and coding to engineering challenges, STEM class encourages students to explore the world of science and technology in a fun, interactive way.
Project Lead The Way (PLTW)
PLTW focuses on problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation. Our PLTW teacher guides students through engaging, real-world challenges that help them build skills in engineering, computer science, and biomedical science. Students learn to think like scientists and engineers as they tackle projects that are both fun and educational.
Music/Theater Arts
Our music teacher fills the halls with melody, rhythm, and harmony. Through singing, playing instruments, and exploring music theory, he inspire students to discover their musical talents and appreciate the art of sound. Next semester our students will have the opportunity to learn about theater arts!
Technology Applications (Tech Apps)
In Tech Apps, students dive into the digital world with lessons on computer literacy, coding, graphic design, and more. Our tech teacher helps students become savvy digital citizens, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed in today’s tech-driven world.
Spanish
In Spanish, students build confidence in their Spanish-speaking abilities through engaging lessons that focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. From beginner vocabulary to conversational skills, he creates a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.
We are grateful for the enthusiasm and expertise these teachers bring to our school community. Their commitment to enriching students’ lives through these special areas makes a world of difference. Please join us in thanking them for all they do!
