October Perfect Attendance
October Attendance Traveling Trophy Winner
Attendance is a priority at Wiley Elementary. We have a school wide challenge going on between each classroom. Our challenge is to see which classroom can have the highest percentage of attendance for the month. The class that has the highest attendance rate for the month gets to display a traveling trophy in their classroom for the month. Congratulations to Mrs. Fry's 2nd grade class for having the highest attendance rate for the month of October. They had a 100% attendance rate.
Past Winners Include:
September: Mrs. Forgey's 3rd Grade Class

October Character Trait Winners
We have started focusing on certain character traits for each month at Wiley Elementary. For the month of October, we focused on being "Polite." Students received tickets either nominated by a classmate or a teacher for being polite. Students wrote down the reason they received the ticket and then displayed it as a leaf on a pumpkin vine in the hallway. Teachers also were nominated for the same reasons. There were student and staff tickets drawn at the assembly for a prize. For November, we will add the character trait of being determined to the list. Great job and keep up the great work!
