Scholastic Book Fair
Shaw’s fall Scholastic Book Fair will take place September 16 - 20. Visit Shaw's book fair homepage to set up your student's e-wallet for a convenient cash-free payment option. To make this a successful book fair for our students, please use this SignUp Genius link to volunteer to be a shopping helper
Families are welcome to shop at the book fair during the Community Open House on September 17. You will have the opportunity to help teachers grow their classroom libraries by purchasing a book from their teacher wish bins!
Wired Headsets or Earbuds
All students should have a pair of 3 mm jack-wired headphones at school. These can be headphones or earbuds but they do need to be wired. They do not need a microphone and should not be distracting to others. Wired earbuds are on-hand if needed but children are allowed to bring their own.

YouthTruth Surveys
We are writing to let you know that we will be asking your child to participate in the YouthTruth Student Survey in the coming weeks. The YouthTruth Student Survey is a nationally recognized survey used in hundreds of schools and districts across the country, surveying hundreds of thousands of students. The confidential survey asks students about their experiences in school and with their teachers, including how engaged they are at school, the rigor of their coursework, and their preparedness for the future. Our school, other schools, and researchers may use such information to develop plans to help schools and teachers improve. For information about this survey, please visit https://youthtruth.org, or speak to a school administrator.
Although we want to hear from all students, participation in this survey is voluntary. If you do not wish to have your child participate in this survey, please email Mr. Tuccio at atuccio@milllburyschools.org
Please be aware that under federal law, you have the right to review a copy of the questions asked of your child. If you would like, you can view a copy of the survey at school.
