Summer School Opportunities
This summer we will be running two types of summer school classes. Traditional and Online.
Traditional summer school will run for three weeks in June. Sessions will be held at Muraski Elementary June 6-June 24. There will be four classes offered in the traditional format. Physical Education and Personal Finance will be held in morning sessions (7:30-11:30). Health and Economics will be held in afternoon sessions (12:00-4:00). The cost for these classes is $150 for residents and $200 non-residents. The registration deadline for these classes is June 3, 2016. Traditional classes are for credit advancement, not credit recovery.
Online classes will be held at Muraski Elementary from June 6-July13. The lab will be open most Monday through Thursday (the lab schedule is on the registration form). The courses for middle school students are core classes (English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science) for grades 7 and 8. High school course offerings are the same as the fall and spring. Classes cost $75.00 per semester (most classes have two semesters). Students cannot take more than four semesters this summer (two full classes). Registration for classes will be at Muraski from 9-11am on May 24 and finish on May 26. Parents can also register for these classes online. Online classes are for credit recovery, not credit advancement. Students must have failed the class in the traditional classroom before taking these classes.
