LGS FAMILY MONDAY MEMO

Please have your Falcon swing by the 'Lost and Found' located outside of the main office if they are missing a coat, jacket, hat or other clothing items. All unclaimed items will be sent to Goodwill on December 20th.

Over the past few weeks, we have seen an increase in the number of students who are hanging out on campus after school, especially on the back playground area. In addition to there being no adult supervision after school, the campus is officially closed between 2:45 PM and 4:00 PM. Students who are not participating in a school sponsored club/activity after school should head straight home. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and will help to keep our campus safe. Just a reminder that we do have an extended day program if you are in need of child care after school. For more information, please call our main office at 916-652-1824.

This week, we welcome Mrs. Lena McKown as a Visual and Performing Arts Aide. She will help out in primary classes, Art and Music. This position was made possible through PROP 28 funding, which supports the Arts in California Schools. PROP 28 also funds our Art Teacher, Ms. Jones.
