SOUTHWEST ELEMENTARY FRIDAY NOTE

Eric Cassling has accepted our instructional aide position that has been open since Corrine Egert resigned. He will be starting once all his paperwork is cleared at the district office. Once he starts, please help me in welcoming him to the Southwest Family.

Please help communicate to parents about students dressing appropriately as the weather has shifted to winter mode and it looks like next week will be even colder!

Some important reminders:

• If the "feels like" temperature is 10 degrees or warmer we will be outside for recess.
• If a student would like to play in the snow, then he/she must have snow pants and boots.

• The district will send out information regarding any snow days/late starts/early dismissals because of the weather. The district uses School Messenger, TV, and Radio to inform families about these decisions.
• In case of a 2 hour late start, Southwest will open its doors at 9:30 AM. Before school recess will be from 10:00-10:15. Below is the schedule we will follow. I will send an email out letting you know whether we will be running schedule A, B, or C.
• 2 Hour Late Start Schedule
• If an early release takes place, staff are free to go once the car line is finished.

Nov. 22nd- Staff Christmas Card Picture- Wear Red or Green (7:45 a.m.)

Nov. 25th-29th- Thanksgiving Break
