Why Modular Classrooms?
Current Challenges:
Overcrowded classrooms in common spaces
Teachers without dedicated classrooms
Increased student-to-teacher ratios
Limited lunch seating
Testing and 1:1 instruction occurring in noisy, distracting environments
Challenges We Are Addressing
Isolation: Junior High students and staff will be separated from the main building, impacting access to facilities like PE, STEAM, Music, and more.
Security: Modulars will have reduced surveillance and no fob entrance systems. We have reviewed and planned security measures with local emergency agencies.
Support: Limited immediate access to administrative, instructional, social work, and medical support.
Weather and Supervision: Ensuring safe transitions in and out of the building, especially during adverse weather conditions.
Communication: Maintaining effective communication with the main office.
