For security purposes, on January 15, 2025, you will be required to login to MyKaty Cloud (MKC) to access Home Access Center (HAC). This new step will require you to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and will only apply to guardians or students that have never logged into MKC. For help with MFA setup, please go to this article.

You will use the same username and password credentials in MyKaty Cloud (MKC) that you currently enter for HAC. Katy ISD encourages you to log into MyKaty Cloud (MKC) to access HAC now.

The Academic Counseling team hosted a Course Selection Parent Webinar on Wednesday, December 18 and the recording is now available on the Course Selection Resources website.

This virtual presentation is designed to help parents and guardians of current 5th-11th grade students navigate the online course selection process. The webinar covers:

• How to use the SchooLinks Online Course Catalog
• 3 & 4 Year Course Planning

Katy ISD parents and community members will have an opportunity to review and provide their input on instructional materials for implementation in the 2025-2026 school year. The instructional materials under consideration will be on display at the Katy ISD Education Support Center located at 6301 South Stadium Lane, Katy, Texas 77494 during business hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) from January 21-31 and after working hours on January 21 and January 27 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Parents and community members will review and provide their input on the following content areas:

All transcript requests must be completed through Schoolinks. Counselors and Registrars cannot submit transcripts through other channels or direct university links. If you need assistance requesting a transcript through Schoolinks, you may use the Help feature in Schoolinks or contact the College and Career Facilitator.

Please note that our Personal Data Sheet has been adjusted for this coming school year.

All sections of the personal data sheet must be completed to receive a counselor letter of recommendation.

The Academic Counseling, College and Career Guidance department will offer College and Career Connection Webinars on Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm each week. The live presentations will take place from 6pm-7pm via Zoom Webinar. Participants are not required to register for each individual session. Presentations will be recorded and placed on the Academic Counseling webpage.
