PDCMS Panther Update

Happy New Year, PDCMS Families!

Welcome back! We hope you all had a restful and joyful winter break. As we dive into the new semester, we’re excited to see our students return rested, refreshed, and ready to learn.

To help our students stay organized, they received new planners for the semester. We encourage you to regularly review your child’s planner and sign it as needed to stay engaged with their schoolwork and upcoming activities.

A few important updates and reminders:

• 8th Grade Information Night: Join us on Wednesday, January 15th, at 6:00 PM in the Fraser Forum. This is a great opportunity to learn about the upcoming academic year and important milestones for your student.
• Panther 5K: Don’t forget to register for the Panther 5K! This wonderful event supports the PDCMS Foundation and provides a fun, active day for the whole family. We hope to see you there!
• New Campus Updates: In our ongoing commitment to fostering a safe and affirming environment, and in accordance with state law, we have introduced a neutral-gender bathroom on campus for students.

Dear Parents and 8th Grade Students,

We are excited to invite you to our 8th Grade Information Night on Monday, January 15th, at 6:00 PM in the Fraser Forum. This event will provide valuable insights into the high school transition process, PSAT scores, 8th-grade activities, and other important information tailored for 8th graders. Don’t miss this opportunity to prepare for an exciting new chapter. We look forward to seeing you there!

Panther 5K Run & Walk
PDCMS is proud to host the annual Panther 5K Run & Walk, supporting the Palm Desert Charter Middle School Foundation. We invite your family and friends to participate as sponsors or registrants for this exciting event. Please note that the sponsorship deadline has been extended to January 16th.

This year, the Panther 5K has partnered with Desert Hot Springs Animal Care to host a Pet Drive and Adoption Event. They will be collecting donations of pet treats, warm blankets, and waste bags. Join us in making this event a success for both our school and our furry friends in need.
