Saturday, 12/14/24, is the last girl's basketball game of the year at 9am at Wayne Memorial High School in the Alumni Arena. Come root the girls on!

The following classes won Golden awards for the month of November. The awards are awarded to the best class in specials, the hallway, the lunchroom, the library, and for cleanest classroom. This winners are as follows:

Take the time to register your student for a African Dance class. This is a free class provided only to Hicks students. Transportation is not provided. The students will showcase the dance they learn at an all school assembly in February for African American History Month. Please take note the class is at the Booker Dozier Rec Center. The district has finally put the IChat form online. This form needs to filled out if you want to volunteer at the school or chaperone a field trip. If you have already turned one in, you do not have to repeat the process. If for some reason you are not approved to volunteer, you will receive a letter in the mail stating why. When filling out this form, please be reminded that if you do not include a picture of your government issued ID, it will not count. Thanks so much and we hope streamlining the process helps out.

This ensures that ALL enrolled students receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE to your household!

To help us maintain this program, we ask parents and guardians to complete and sign the Education Benefits Form (available on the Meal Magic Family Portal) and return it to your child's school as soon as possible. Please note: the information is used for administrative purposes, not to determine eligibility.

This form is crucial for your child's school to receive important funding from state and federal programs like Title I A, At-Risk (31a), and more. Your help makes a big difference!
