PV WEEKLY
WEEK 27 EDITION - 3/10/25-3/14/25
MARCH MADNESS COMES TO PV
Our next homeroom competition is here. As the country gets ready for the NCAA tournament and selection Sunday, PV will have Selection Monday on March 17th. On Monday, the top 21 colleges in the tournament will be randomly assigned to a homeroom. Over the next several weeks, each homeroom will have a chance to attain points based on the following:
- creation of a poster with key attributes of the college
- wearing the color of the college on Mondays
- how far the college makes it in the actual tournament
- other areas connected to school related events
This friendly competition is a way to bring together a few different components: some homeroom spirit, learning a little about the process of researching information about colleges and universities, and the exciting tradition of college basketball in March. Each grade level will have a homeroom winner as well as two student grand prize winners. The prizes will be shared next week. Good luck to all!
DISTRICT ART AND MUSIC SHOW
The District Art and Music Show is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18th. The Art Show will be held in the PTHS Cafeteria 6-7pm and District Music Show will be held in the PTHS Auditorium 7pm. Students are represented from all schools and grade levels.
