Update Aeries Contact Information & Parent Communication to Staff
It is important that you keep your child's contact information (phone numbers and emails) in Aeries updated so that we can contact you in case of an emergency.
If you email staff with a different email than you have listed in your Aeries portal, chances are it will go to junk mail and we will not receive your email.

Reese Received Platinum PBIS State Recognition for 2023-2024

It's Book Fair Time!
Our Reese Book Fair is this week Monday 9/23rd-Friday 9/27th.
Hours are as follows:
Monday: 8:30AM-5:00PM
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:30AM-3:30PM
Friday: 8:30AM-12:00PM
*All student backpacks will need to be left outside the library when shopping.
Reese Spelling Bee
- All of our fourth-Sixth grade students will be participating in their classroom Spelling Bee Monday, the 23rd
- An informational flyer and a list of words will be sent home with each class winner on Friday, the 27th to help them prepare for our Reese school-wide Spelling Bee.
- Our school-wide Spelling Bee is Monday, October 21st.
Reese Science Camp Devinci's Dinner Fundraiser
Reese students are selling Devinci's dinners to raise money to attend science camp. The money raised will benefit the student themselves, and it will go directly to their personal Science Camp balance. Students will receive approximately 40% profit from each dinner.
- Tickets will go on sale September 3rd thru September 23rd, 2024
- Each dinner will consist of a choice of pasta, salad, and bread for $15.00
- Cash or checks accepted. Checks should be made out to Reese Parent Club
- Dinners can be picked up on October 13-27th 2024 at any DeVinci’s Location.
***ALL FUNDRAISING MONEY IS NON REFUNDABLE NOR TRANSFERABLE TO ANOTHER SCHOOL. IN THE EVENT THE CHILD DOES NOT GO TO SCIENCE CAMP THE FUNDRAISED MONEY WILL GO INTO THE SCIENCE CAMP GENERAL FUND, OR BE TRANSFERRED TO A FAMILY MEMBER HERE AT REESE. ***

Parent Club News
Reese Harvest Festival is October 25th 6:00 PM-8:00PM
Please join us for an evening of fun and games!
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Presale entrance wristbands will be sold for $5.00 after school on 10/18 and 10/23 or
you can purchase a wristband at the gate for $7.00.
Wristbands include: obstacle courses, maze, face painting, crafts, games, & activities as well as prizes and candy. There will also be a silent auction and Reese merchandise & food to purchase.

LUSD Spelling Bee Rules & Practice Lists
We are excited to announce that your child’s/children’s school is having a spelling bee for students grades 4th through 6th. The Spelling Bee is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their spelling skills and compete in a friendly and encouraging environment. Participants will be tested on their ability to spell a variety of words; the event will include several rounds. The competition aims to foster a love of language and promote academic excellence. The site spelling bees will take place between October 14th and October 23rd. The winner of each school site will go on to the district wide spelling bee (Stockton 11/7 and Lodi 11/8).
