Spring is Here!

Fourth Quarter

Happy Spring! Fourth quarter is here. We have lots of learning and fun planned for our lions.

Please see the calendar below for all the fun.

Have you conferenced with your student's teacher this spring? Your teacher will be available for conferences this month.

Attendance is important! These last six weeks will be full of learning and preparation for kindergarten. It's important for your student to be here for every minute.

SCHOOL SPRING PICTURES ARE APRIL 22nd. There will be information sent home and on our Facebook page.

Go to www.sps.org/explore You will click "Enroll Now" and sign in. You can set up a new account for your student then and proceed to registration.

April & May Activities

SPRING CARNIVAL

Our Spring Carnival is Friday, April 25th, from 5:30-7:00.

This free event will have games, snacks, a photo booth and a silent auction. See below for those details. We hope to see everyone there!

SILENT AUCTION

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The silent auction is cash only. Classrooms work together to create a themed basket for auction. These baskets have themes and items are donated by our families. Your teacher will have details regarding the basket. Here are the themes:

Ms. Jennings- Movie Night

Ms. Jenkins- Baking

Ms. McCurdy- Take Care of Yourself

Mrs. Zoey- Snack Attack: Cheesy Edition

Mrs. Charbonneau- Gardening

Mrs. Johnson- Art Fun

Mrs. Jeffries- Outdoor Summer Fun

Mrs. Joy- Family Fun Night

You may donate items that would fit your student's classroom theme by sending them with your child to school. We can't wait to see all the baskets on Friday, April 25th!

FARM DAY

Monday, April 28th is FARM DAY! Hilltop Farm will visit Shady Dell and bring different farm animals for the students to see. Students can DRESS LIKE A FARMER on this day to celebrate and enjoy the learning.
