Peter and the Starcatcher at North
North's spring play, "Peter and the Starcatcher," opens April 3 at 7 p.m., and runs from April 3-5 at 7 p.m., with an additional show on April 6 at 2 p.m.
It is 1885 and two ships from the British Empire set sail on the high seas. On one ship, The Neverland, three orphan boys encounter a smart and witty girl named Molly Aster, the daughter of an English lord and minister to the queen. Also on board is a trunk full of precious starstuff that Molly has promised to protect. One of the orphans, known only as Boy, is bitter and unpleasant. Once he meets Molly, his lonely and miserable world is turned upside down.
On the other ship, The Wasp, Molly’s father, the famous starcatcher Lord Aster, guards a decoy trunk from pirates who are in search of treasure.
The pirate captain, Black Stache, is searching for the treasure.
Come find out what becomes of Molly, Peter, and the other lost boys! Discover more than ever about these classic characters you thought you knew.

622 students participate in prestigious choir event
Seniors Damyre Perry from North and Slava Tomasevich from Tartan were part of the Angelica Cantanti Singers Choir performing at the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Conference in Dallas, Texas last week.
Members of the Cantanti Singers Choir are selected through a highly competitive audition process, and they were chosen as one of only 30 ensembles to perform at this prestigious event—and the only choir from Minnesota to receive this honor. This opportunity allows our singers to showcase their talent in front of music directors, conductors, composers, and educators from around the world.

Last Saturday, 622's Fusion Drumline competed in Elk River and placed second in their division.

Community Resources
Measles and the MMR vaccine
Minnesota has identified cases of measles in children who recently returned to the U.S. after traveling internationally. The decline in measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine coverage, coupled with the increase in measles disease nationally and internationally, puts Minnesota at risk of additional measles cases and a measles outbreak.
MDH has information about measles and the MMR vaccine: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/measles/measlesfacts.html
If your child has any symptoms, please contact your medical provider and school nurse.
Ramsey County Vaccination Clinics
Ramsey County is offering vaccinations clinics. More information can be found on the Ramsey County website.
Washington County Vaccination Clinics
Washington County is offering monthly vaccination clinics. Appointments can be scheduled on the Washington County website.
