The Weekly Update #4
August 11th, 2024
August 23rd, 2024
First, thank you so much for your patience and understanding during the remodeling of the building! I realize the frustration of the computers and phone lines being down and the inability to communicate more effectivity.
Due to the influx of kids, collaboration of grade level teachers and placing kids in the best classroom possible, the board office insisted on waiting to post class lists until today.
Today, you will receive an invite on dojo from your class teacher. This is the MOST UPDATED list given to me from the board office. Please accept this invitation as your teacher will post their welcome letter on Monday.
I look forward to sharing our NEW Wildwood with you and know it will be a great year! - Ms. Babyak

Wayne-Westland Community Schools has a Family Resource Center (FRC), which provides services to any student/family enrolled in our District, free of cost. Some of the services they provide are essential needs assistance, access to over 700 local resources, a Laundry Assistance Program and material items for those unable to afford them (emergency toiletries, socks/underwear, hats/gloves/scarves, etc.) They can also supply school supplies and backpacks year-round for any WWCS student. Please contact our Family Resource Center at 734-419-2709 or FRC@wwcsd.net. Our FRC also has a Digital Request for Services Form, which can be used to request assistance by filling out a simple form. Please contact the Family Resource Center directly with additional questions regarding their services.
Lunch Balance Information
The Wayne-Westland Food Service Department is proud to offer students a variety of delicious yet healthy breakfast and lunch choices. The lunch program uses an efficient point-of-sale swipe card system, significantly reducing wait times and allowing students more time to enjoy their meals.
We offer an extensive selection of additional products for students to purchase during lunch, including beverages, bagged snacks, and desserts. While the selection varies by school and grade level, students can conveniently buy snacks using cash or their student lunch accounts.
Funding the student lunch account is simple through the Meal Magic Family Portal, with detailed instructions provided below. Please note that we currently do not accept credit or debit cards. For any questions or issues regarding purchases or lunch accounts, please email foodservice@wwcsd.net or call the Food Service Department at (734) 419-2118.
