Summer Edition
August 20, 2024 Update
Tailgate and Teacher Assignments
Classroom assignments will be posted in Infinite Campus (IC) in the afternoon of August 27, 2024. All families are invited to attend the Timberwolf Tailgate scheduled on Wednesday, August 28, from 4:00-5:30 pm. Students and families will be able to drop off supplies and meet teachers in their classrooms from 4:00-4:45 pm and then enjoy socializing with other Taft families from 4:45-5:30 pm.
School Hours
The school day begins at 8:15 am and ends at 3:00 pm.
Students who are taking breakfast will be able to enter the building beginning at 7:55 am and will eat breakfast in their classrooms.
Breakfast is available, free of charge for all students, in the classroom until 8:15 am.
Students arriving after 8:15 am are considered tardy and will need to check in at the school office before going to class.
Drop off and Pick Up
Students will enter and exit the building using specified doors. Please see the table below to help determine where you would like to drop off and pick up your child(ren).
Medications Administered at School
If your child will be taking any prescription medication while at school, consent forms need to be completed and signed by a physician before we can administer any prescription medication. The form you will need can be picked up at the Taft office or found online by clicking on the link below.
Nonprescription medications may also be administered at school if a medication consent form is filled out and signed by the child’s guardian.
ALL medications need to be brought to the office by the child’s parent or guardian. Medication consent forms can be obtained in theTaft School Office or by clicking on the link below.
August 13, 2024 - Update
Announcement!! - July 26th
Taft School has been selected to be the recipient of a donation from K.I.N.F. and Jeweler's Mutual. They will be supplying ALL Taft students with a backpack filled with school supplies to start the school year! If you have not already completed your school shopping, please see the list below to find out what will be in the backpack provided. We have asked that the school supplies and backpacks be handed out at our Timberwolf Tailgate event to ensure all students have what they need on the first day of school.
Some items on the school supply list will not be in the backpack (such as headphones). Please double check to see what you will still need to supply.
Items for each child included in donation:
- 1 backpack
- 3 folders
- 2 wide ruled notebooks
- 2 glue sticks
- 2 pens
- 1 pack of pencils
- 1 pack of crayons
- 1 pack of markers
- 1 pencil pouch
- 1 pink eraser
- 1 sharpener
- 1 ruler
- 1 pack of sticky notes
- 1 scissors
Hello Taft Families!
I hope you are enjoying your summer and looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year. Please be sure to register your child(ren) for the upcoming school year by July 19, 2024, which is the end of this week. Information on how to complete registration has been emailed to you by NSJD and can also be found in this mailing. (I have also attached the Taft School Supply list in this brief newsletter to help with your back to school shopping).
We are looking forward to seeing all Taft families in August at our Back to School, Timberwolf Tailgate! More information will be sent home soon!

Registration is Open
The Online Registration annual update is now open on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal for enrolled students to complete their required annual update of information as well as give consent for annual release forms and waivers for the 2024-25 school year. ALL families are asked to complete this at their earliest convenience to ensure all information is up to date prior to school starting (including newly enrolled students).
- All demographic changes should be made ONLY through the Online Registration link, not the demographic and family tabs-this information will be updated when your Online Registration/Annual update is processed.
- If you are divorced, do not add the other parent's information on your application. It is hidden from your view for privacy purposes, they may update their information in their own portal account.
- All requests to remove a guardian will be denied without a court order brought to the school your child(ren) attend.

- Choose "More" from the menu on the left.
- Click on "OLR Annual Update"
- If all your children are listed, Click the Begin Registration button and follow on screen instructions.
There is no "in person" registration.
Questions/Issues~
- If you have forgotten your username or password and unable to retrieve them using the "forgot your username or forgot your password" buttons, please email campus@neenah.k12.wi.us for additional assistance.
- If one of your students is missing from your app, email campus@neenah.k12.wi.us and provide your name and missing students name before starting.
- If you are having any technical issues, please email campus@neenah.k12.wi.us and include your name, students name, and phone number you can be reached at in the event we are unable to resolve your issue by email.
- Parking permit questions should be directed to amie.priscal@neenah.k12.wi.us.
FAMILIES ARE ASKED TO COMPLETE THE ANNUAL UPDATE BY JULY 19th. If you do not plan to attend Neenah this fall, please have your new school district request records.
School fees & Free & Reduced lunch applications may be taken care of in the parent portal as well. If you think you may qualify, please wait to pay all fees until your meal benefits application has been processed. Credit card convenience fees will be waived until August 31st.

2024-2025 Transportation Update
Bus Routes for 2024-25 Coming in August
Kobussen is working on bus routes and plans to have them completed for the 2024-25 school year by mid to late August. When routes are completed, all eligible families will receive an email with their route information.
