NJHS Sponsored Blood Drive
October 29, 2024
The Barkalow chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive on October 29th and we could really use your help.
The American Red Cross is urgently seeking blood donations to replenish supplies hit hard by Hurricane Helene. The storm has caused the cancellation of over 100 blood drives in the Southeast, leading to thousands of missed donations. With the possibility of additional storms, this is becoming a very serious issue, but you can help.
There are still open appointment times, and there are several easy ways you can help us meet our goal on October 29th.
If you haven't scheduled your donation yet, sign up! Schedule your appointment using this link.
Or, visit RedCrossBlood.org and search zip code 07728 or Barkalow to find our event, or download the Blood Donor App by texting BLOODAPP to 90999)
Invite your spouse or significant other. Share the love as you share the lifesaving gift of blood together.
Invite a friend to our drive. Donating blood is always more fun with a friend, so bring one along or in place of your donation.
Share our flyer with your friends and family to promote our event and to encourage others to donate blood.
Your donations mean so much to students at Barkalow, specifically the National Honor Society members and the American Red Cross. Patients in need count on drives like ours to provide a steady supply of blood. Each donation can help save up to three lives, so by meeting our goal, we can touch so many lives in our community and around the country.
Your commitment to our blood drive's success and the National Junior Honor Society are greatly appreciated.
