Welcome to the Pennridge School Board monthly update. To foster better communication with the public we are providing a monthly executive summary of our actions. These are highlights of this month's Board meeting.

The President's Report
Prior to the April Meeting, the School Board and School District Cabinet Members shared a Celebratory Moment over Cake with Executive Council Members of the (PEA) Pennridge Educational Association. The Collective Bargaining Agreement with our cherished Pennridge Teachers was finalized and signed.
- The Pennridge School District has been named one of "Pennsylvania's Great Schools" by the Pennsylvania School Board Association!
- The "Unsung Heroes" Behind the Scenes of our Musicals Get Time in the Spotlight and Honored!
- Pennridge is Once Again One of the Best Schools for Music Education in the Country!
- The Superintendent Honors Two Pennridge 11th Graders for the Union League's "Good Citizenship Award"
The Pennridge School District is A GREAT School District!
After an extensive process, we were recently notified that Pennridge received the "Great Pennsylvania Schools" (GPS) designation which recognizes Pennsylvania public schools that provide students with access to rigorous programming, are community-centric, demonstrate financial well-being, and display resilience by the Pennsylvania School Board Association.
The Great PA Schools honor distinguishes Pennridge as one of the best districts in Pennsylvania based on a variety of factors and we retain this honor for 4 years, 2024-2028.
For the 9th Year in a Row, the Pennridge School District has been designated a “Best Community for Music Education 2024”.
The NAMM Foundation nationally recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
Pennridge is one of less than 1000 school districts nationally to receive this distinguished honor!

This Crew Does it All to make Every PHS Play and Musical the Best!
The Philadelphia Union League honors Alannah Crozier and Cormac Gartner as "Outstanding Citizens" for all of their Community Volunteer Work!
