A Message from the Principals
Happy Friday, Pine Brook Families!
A HUGE thank you for all of our students, families, and volunteers who helped to make our Open Houses a great success! We enjoyed seeing our students and their families learn more about Pine Brook and sharing what they have been up to in their classroom! As you know, Pine Brook is a Leader in Me school. This means that we teach and encourage our students to follow the 8 Habits of Leader in Me at the bus stops, on the busses, in the hallways, in our classrooms, during lunches, and when we are out at recess. If you would like to learn more about our Leader in Me Habits, click here. We will also be highlighting a new habit each month!
For October, we are focusing on Habit #1: Be Proactive! Each classroom shared their mission statement at our assembly last Friday. Ask your Panther about their class mission statement and check out this resource to write a Family Mission Statement.
Lastly, we hope that you will be able to join us on Wednesday, October 9th, for the PTSA Movie Night. This was a popular event last year this year, and this year the PTSA will be providing pizza at 5:30 and we will be showing Elemental at 6:00 in the Panther CafΓ©!
Enjoy the weekend,
Andrea and Allie

π± Who to Call π±
Who to Call With Questions is a Resource for Families
Building trust and ensuring that there are open lines of communication between home and school are essential for student success. We want to be sure you know who to contact with questions or concerns. In December, the district shared a new resource for families. In case you missed it, this linked Who to Call with Questions, Concerns and Compliments reference guide is a step-by-step guide families can use to ensure questions are answered quickly and effectively. Please refer to it whenever you need to speak to someone about your childβs progress. Whether your inquiry is about academics, safety, or services and supports, there are people at the school and district level who are ready to help whenever a question or concern arises.
For Step 1 concerns at Pine Brook, please start with the person closest to the situation. They should be able to help you navigate the situation. If the concern rises to a Step 2, please contact the Assistant Principal. For your convenience there is a list below of contacts at Pine Brook:
