SUNsational News!
Sunset Valley's Parent Newsletter | Week of October 28th
From Mr. Nunn
Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you well and that you had a wonderful Fall Break! As we return to school, I wanted to share some exciting updates for the upcoming week.
First and foremost, thank you for your generous donations to our Nonperishable Food Drive. Your contributions make a significant difference, and we will continue to collect items through Friday, November 1st. If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, there’s still time! Additionally, thank you for your donations of candy that we used to make Trunk or Treat successful!
Next week, we will also be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. We encourage all students to participate in our themed dress-up days, which promote healthy choices and a drug-free lifestyle. Please check our Red Ribbon Flyer in this newsletter school for the full schedule of dress up days.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Elementary Students Invited to Enter Holiday Card Contest
'Tis the season for creativity! Keller ISD elementary students are invited to spread some holiday cheer by entering the KISD Elementary Holiday Card Contest. All KISD elementary students are welcome to participate, and one lucky artist will have their design featured on the District’s official digital holiday card. Submit your festive creations to your school by Wednesday, November 13!
Please click on the picture for additional details!
PLEASE READ: Red Ribbon Week Update!
Please note that Tuesday's dress up day will be "Superhero" Day! For all dress up days, students must wear school appropriate costumes (no fake blood, fake guts, or fake weapons). Lastly, Thursday's costumes should reflect a character from an appropriate story book.
