The Viking Spotlight is the part in my weekly newsletter used to highlight and celebrate our students and staff anytime we can! If you would like your child acknowledged for something they have accomplished, whether on campus or off-campus, please feel free to fill out this google form HERE. Last week was a fun one with a spirit week full of fun that ended with an exciting rally! Thanks to all the Vikings who participated and earned points on 5-star! Remember, you can cash in your points for a variety of different prizes, so check out the Rewards tab on your 5-star app to see the options!

Congratulations to our boys basketball team and our softball team on their victories this past weekend, bringing their records to 2-0! Baseball and girls basketball, remember to work as a team, keep doing your best and work hard and the wins will come!! ⚾🏀🥎

It's the last week of school before Fall Break!! 🤗 Don't forget to take advantage of the before and after school tutoring available Monday-Friday in the library this week. After this Friday, school will be closed for two weeks and will resume on Tuesday, October 8th. The VALOR Program is offering an awesome Fall Camp with lots of field trips for FREE, so check out the flyer below for more information on how to sign up!

Sweetwater Union High School District along with the League of Women Voters will host a community voter registration table in front of Mar Vista High School on Wednesday September 18, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please know that this is a non-partisan and all eligible people from the community will be able register if they choose.

Help our school be a safe place for you and your friends! If you have information on incidents surrounding bullying, vandalism, safety concerns, etc., report it anonymously to p3tips.com or use the app!

In an effort to help support our MVA students, we welcome any donations of school supplies and/or money. All funds would go directly to supporting our MVA students in the form of spirit shirts, celebrations, recognition awards, school supplies, and more.
